Navy Pier and Chicago lakefront, typical charter-boat boarding area
Lake Michigan · Chicago River

Chicago charter boats. Coach to the dock.

Architecture cruises, birthday decks, corporate cocktail hours, and wedding parties that want skyline photos from the water. We time the curb so nobody is standing on Grand Avenue waiting for a late boat.

Land transfer

Sprinter to the dock. Call for the boat.

The widget books the coach. Vessel class, hours, and catering are quoted by phone so we match a licensed operator to your headcount. Terms cover both sides.

How it works

One itinerary, two licenses.

01

Tell us headcount and water

Lake Michigan, river architecture, sunset, or a private birthday deck. We need passenger count, date, and whether you want food or an open bar on the operator’s menu.

02

Licensed marine operator

The boat is not ours. A U.S. Coast Guard–licensed operator runs the vessel. Your confirmation names the dock, boarding time, and passenger limit.

03

Coach from Elmwood Park or the hotel

We time a Sprinter or shuttle so the group is on the curb before the boarding window. Late to the dock can shorten the cruise. See Navy Pier logistics.

04

Captain’s weather call

Small-craft and lake conditions belong to the captain. If the boat does not leave, the marine portion reschedules or refunds under our refund policy.

Typical jobs

What we book on the water.

Private lake charters

Skyline loops, birthday decks, and corporate cocktail hours. Passenger limits follow the vessel certificate, not a marketing number.

River architecture

Chicago River docks with a timed Sprinter from the Gold Coast or a western suburb hotel.

Wedding parties

Boat for portraits, coach for guests. We do not pretend one vehicle does both.

Questions

Charter boats, answered.

Do you own the boats?

No. Fourteen coaches are on the lot in Elmwood Park. Boats are licensed marine operators we book with the dock transfer.

Where do we board?

Navy Pier, DuSable, Burnham, or a river dock named on the confirmation. We pin the curb in the coach notes.

Can we drink on the boat?

Only if the operator permits it and everyone drinking is 21+. CEC does not sell alcohol. The captain can end the trip if it becomes unsafe. See Terms §2.2 and §4.2.

How do we book?

Call (773) 923-0220 for the vessel. Use the widget on this page for the Sprinter to the dock.
